Lena N Jefferis, 99, Phoenixville Lena N. (Brownback) Jefferis, age 99, wife of the late John J. Jefferis, formerly of Parkerford and Spring City died on Friday at her familys home. Born in Spring City a daughter to the late Maurice and Hattie Brownback (Miller), Lena resided most of her life in Parkerford and Spring City. Lena was employed for several years in food service at the former Pennhurst State School until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Spring City. Lena was the loving grandmother of Cathy Hvazda of Royersford, Jennifer Jefferis of Lambertville, NJ and Amy Jefferis of San Diego CA and also survived by their mother: Suzanne Jefferis.The Beloved great grandmother of Tyler J. Bender, Andrew and Jake Hvazda. Lena is predeceased by her daughter: Suzanne Jefferis and son: Joseph J. Jefferis and sister: Susan Good. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 11:30am on Saturday December 13, 2014 at the St. Joseph Church 3640 Schuylkill Road Spring City PA 19475. The Rev. Charles O'Hara will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery (Black Rock), Phoenixville. Her viewing will be held Saturday morning in the church from 10:30-11:30am.
