On January 24, 2019, over 100 friends, family and Phoenixville community gathered together for the Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting of R. Strunk Funeral Home. The funeral home is located in the Thomas F. Byrne Historical Mansion. The beautifully restored mansion was the home of Thomas F. Byrne who made his fortune in the textile industry.
