Richard J. "Big Rick" Garofolo, age 54 of Phoenixville, PA died on Friday August 13, 2010. Born in California, he was the son of Patricia Garofolo of Royersford and the late Dick Garofolo. He spent the last forty years pursuing his passion of the design and construction of custom in ground swimming pools. He was the owner of Rick Garofolo, Precision Design and Consulting. Survived by: Son: Rick Garofolo II fianc of Dina Karalis of Royersford, sister: Marianne Garofolo and companion Eric Knoll of Collegeville and 2 brothers: Anthony Garofolo husband of Kathy of Barto and Christopher garofolo of Limerick. And 2 grandsons: Rickey and Jason Garofolo and granddaughter: Jasey Garofolo, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sons: Jason and Marc Garofolo and a brother: Michael Garofolo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside funeral service on Thursday at 11:00AM at the Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford.
