George Geoffrey Miller, MD, of Spring City age 64 died on Friday July 30, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Pottstown a son of the late George D. Miller and the late Jean (Ferguson) Miller. Mr. Miller was a 1964 graduate of Spring Ford High School and served in the United States Navy for twenty years retiring as Captain. He was a graduate of Temple University and also Philadelphia School of Optometry and Jefferson Medical College. He served two years of residency at Bethesda Navy Hospital and was an ophthalmologist for 35 years until his retirement. He was enjoyed music and was a member of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra and the Wyoming Valley Band. He is survived by two brothers: John Miller of Phoenixville and Charles Miller of Spring City. And Nieces and Nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Tuesday August 3, 2010 at 10am at St. Joseph Church 3460 Schuylkill Road Spring City. The Rev. Charles O'Hara will officiate. Burial will be in the Fernwood Cemetery Royersford with full military honors.
