Obituary of Mary Weber

Mary Elizabeth Reed Weber, widow of Earl A. Weber, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2016 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Mary was a resident of Manatawny Manor for three years.
Mary was the daughter of Irene and John Reed. She lived at 203 Fox Meadow Dr., Royersford.
Mary was a graduate of the former Spring City High School, Class of 1937. She worked at The Spring City Knitting Mill for over 27 years, and was a Red Cross nurses aide at The Phoenixville Hospital for 5 years during World War II. She spent a number of years with three different camping clubs in many different states, and enjoyed traveling all over the USA, as well as abroad in foreign countries.
Mary was a member of The Zion Lutheran Church, and taught Sunday School in the Primary Department at the church on Chestnut Street. In addition, she was a member of the Women of Church at Zion Lutheran. She was a member of AARP in Royersford, Senior Fellowship of Limerick, and was a member of retired members of the state union at Pennhurst.
She is survived by her son, Bruce B. Weber of Maine, a niece Barbara Southby of Florida, two nephews, James and Charles Wisler of Florida.
In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her sister Grace Wisler of Florida and nephew Jerry Miller of Gettysburg.
Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, February 5 at 11:00 AM at The Zion Lutheran Church, Spring City, PA 19475 with The Reverend Paul Townsend officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 10 to 11 AM.
