Rosalie (Carmichael) Howard, 93, wife of the late Virgil R. Howard of Birchrunville, PA formally of Torrance, PA died Tuesday at her home. She was born in Lockport, PA to the late William and the late Pearl (Wambaugh) Carmichael. Mrs. Howard resided in Torrance, PA since 1941 and has lived in Birchrunville for the past 13 years. She was the owner and operator of Rosalie's Beauty Shop for twenty five years until her retirement. She is survived by three children: Daughters: Gwen wife of Arthur Miller of Chester Springs and Diane Pennypacker of Birchrunville, PA and a son: Douglas Howard husband of Jan of Buffalo, NY, also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; She is preceded in death by two sisters; Nevada and Bertha and three brothers: Franklin, Robert and Jesse. Funeral Services and interment are being held privately at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont at the convenience of the family.
