Kathryn Landes Kolb Born: June 26,1921 Died: September 26,2015 Kathryn Kolb, 94, of Royersford, PA went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 26, 2015 at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, PA. She was the widow of Matthew Kolb, her husband of 71 years. Her parents were Isaiah T. and Susan (Alderfer) Landes. As a pastor's wife of 45 years her cooking skill brought to her table her church family, eighteen farm help trainees from around the world, elderly house guests she cared for, neighbors and her five children. She is survived by four children: Charlotte Glick and husband Karl of Oley, PA; Mary Jane Goldschmidt and husband Pierre of Biederthal, France; Martin Kolb and wife Donna of Royersford, PA; and Matthew Jr. Kolb and wife Kathleen of Royersforfd, PA; a sister, Thelma Mack and a brother-in-law, Willis Miller; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceeded in death by her daughter, Ruth Harris and a granddaughter, Anne Muliette, both of England; a brother, Henry Landes; and two sisters, Margaret Rush and Dorothy Miller. Viewings will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Souderton Mennonite Homes, 207 W. Summit Street, Souderton, PA 18964 from 6:30-8:00 pm and on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:15 am at Vincent Mennonite Church, 39 Seven Stars Road, Spring City, PA 19475. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Vincent Mennonite Church. Buriel will follow the funeral service at Vincent Mennonite Cemetary.. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Vincent Mennonite Church, 39 Seven Stars Road, Spring City, PA 19475 to be divided between the medical needs of a nephew and the ministry needs of her granddaughter Jessica.
