William “Bill” L. Franz, 66, Spring City
William L. Franz, 66, loving husband of Eloise Franz(Menegat) was unexpectedly taken from this world on Sunday, July 19, 2015. Bill was born in Phoenixville, PA , to the late, Howard and Elizabeth Franz.
A long time resident of the Spring Ford Community, Bill was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, a life member of the Liberty Fire Company and member of the Legion Outpost #602. Bill was a member of the US Army serving in Vietnam. He worked for many years as a custodian taking care of the Phoenixville Hospital and the Spring Ford School District. Bill was an avid Golfer and loved bowling in local leagues.
In addition to leaving behind his wife of 38 years, Bill is survived by his son, Anthony Franz, husband of Kayla of Upper Providence, four loving grandchildren: Tyler, Zachary, Logan and Ryan and a sister, Gloria Franz of Spring City. Preceded in death by his brother Howard Franz, Jr.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 23, 2015 in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City. with the Rev. Charles O'Hara officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Burial will be immediately following in Limerick Garden of Memories in Limerick.
