William S. Fulmer Jr., 65, husband of Elizabeth (Zern) Fulmer of Schwenksville, died on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at home with his loved ones by his side.
Born in Phoenixville, Mr. Fulmer was a son of the late William S. Fulmer Sr. and the late Mary (Garrett) Fulmer. He was a resident of the local area having lived in Phoenixville, Royersford and Limerick. He worked for AMT as a machinist prior to retiring. Mr. Fulmer had also been employed at the Giant Supermarket in Limerick and the Limerick Diner. He was a member of the Crossroads Presbyterian Church and had been a volunteer firefighter with the Humane Fire Co., Royersford. Mr. Fulmer enjoyed hunting, roller skating, roller hockey, bowling and drag racing.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Wendy A Gray, wife of Tony of Plano, TX, Karen L. Marang, wife of Donald of Spring City, Michele L McConnell wife of Robert of St. Peters and William M. Fulmer of Schwenksville; one sister, Helen Kulp of Kinzer, PA and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Fulmer and a sister, Verna Caporelli
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Church and Bridge Sts., Spring City, the Reverend Charles Holt will officiate. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick. Visitation will be on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Crossroads Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Cherry Ln., Limerick, PA 19468. Online tributes may be made at sgsfuneral home.com.
