Myra R (Haldeman) Britcher, age 91, wife of the late Brooks A. Britcher Sr., died Friday in the Gwynedd Square Nursing Home. She was born in Spring City to the late Harry B. Haldeman and the late Bertha (Lockhart) Coulston. Mrs. Britcher and her husband were married for forty five years. She was a homemaker and was employed at the former Philco Company of Spring City and Sears of Pottstown. Mrs. Britcher was a life member of the Spring City United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son: Brooks A. Britcher Jr and his wife Carolann of Gwynedd Valley, PA. She is predeceased by sisters: Eva Mary Britcher and Florence Mildred Britcher and Brothers: Donald Stager and Edgar House Brithcer. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday January 6, 2010 at 11am at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets Spring City; The Rev. Kerry Bart will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Spring City. Her viewing will be Wednesday morning at the funeral home from 10-11am.
