Robert M Latshaw, 86, Pottstown Robert M. Latshaw, age 86, beloved husband of RoseElla (Kugler) Latshaw, went home to be with the Lord peacefully Thursday morning surrounded by family. Bob was born in Philadelphia a son to the late Clayton T. and Margareta (Winner) Latshaw he resided most of his life in Spring City. Bob was a graduate of the former Spring City High School; he was partner/owner of The Mowrey Latshaw Hardware Company in Spring City for many years and also former Pastor of Parker ford Church of the Brethren for forty years until his retirement. Bob enjoyed life and had a passion for weather gauging, also enjoyed visiting Gettysburg and family vacations to Vermont, he raised chickens, gardened and at one time enjoyed boxing and small game hunting, but most of all being with his family. In addition to his wife of 56 years he is survived by daughters: Elizabeth wife of Thomas Kearns and Nancy wife of David Strait and sons: Daniel Latshaw husband of Jamie and John Latshaw husband of Denise, and nine grandchildren. Pre deceased by sisters: Mary Louise Nixon and Margaret Latshaw and brothers: C. Albert Latshaw and Richard W. Latshaw. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life on Sunday at 4pm at the Parkerford Church of the Brethren 20 Rinehart Road Pottstown PA 19465, The Rev. Tim Doering and the Rev. Josh Bytwerk officiating. Burial will be private in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday at the church from 2pm to 4pm.
