Anna M. James, 87, Royersford Anna M. (Scortico) James, age 87, beloved wife of Otis "Huck" James of Royersford, died on Tuesday January 20, 2015 in the Season's Hospice, Phoenixville PA. Born in Royersford Anna was the daughter to the late Harry and Michelena (Perva) Scortico. Anna resided all of her life in Royersford, she was a member of Sacred Heart Church, and was a crossing guard for many years. She was also formerly employed at the former E. Cutt Knitting Mill. Anna enjoyed cooking and planting flowers, she was a loving and caring mother who will be sorely missed. In addition to her husband she is survived by sons: Mark James husband of Lori of Royersford and Tom James of Royersford. And three grandchildren: Mark, Jessica, and Rebecca and a sister: Mary Hoziash of Spring City. Relatives and friend are invited to attend her prayer service on Saturday January 31, at 10am at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home Bridge and Church Streets Spring City PA; The Rev. Jim Badeau will officiate. Burial will be private in Fernwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 9am to 10am at the funeral home.
