Louis R. Dolente, Sr., 81, Pottstown Louis R. Dolente, Sr., 81, widower of the late Laura Bechtel, died Sunday, January 18, 2015 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Norristown a son to the late Pasquale and the late Anttonetta (Tizziani) Dolente. A long time resident of East Coventry Township, Louis worked as a Millwright for General Tire Company of Mayfield Kentucky and Firestone Tire Company in Pottstown until their closure. He honored his country in service during the Korean War in the Air Force from 1952 to 1956. Louis was employed as an Air Traffic controller. Surviving is his sister Santina Beckius and brother, Pasquale Jr. Two Children: Debra A. Whisler, wife of Theodore of Leesport, PA; Louis R. Dolente, Jr. husband of Josephine; Eleven grandchildren: Reynold, Andrew, Matthew, Paul, Peter, Nathan and John Whisler; Gina, Louigi, Gabriel, Guiseppe and Antonio Dolente; and Four Great grandchildren: John Jr, Luke, Alexander and Logan. Preceded in Death is his four brothers: Michael, Alfred, Ralph and Ronald and Daughter, Katherine A. Dolente. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday at 11am at the Good Sheppard mausoleum Chapel in Limerick garden of Memories 44 swamp pike Limerick PA 19468. Burial to follow in limerick garden of Memories. Visitation will be held in the chapel from 9:45-11am.
