Robert Kulp , 74, Phoenixville
Robert Kulp , 74, husband of Jane Haines Kulp died Friday, November 28, 2014 in Seasons Hospice of Phoenixville. He was born in Pottstown to the late William and the late Rose (Pickar) Kulp. A 1957 Phoenixville High School graduate. Robert continued his education and graduated from Temple with a BS in Education and a Masters in Education. A life of service, Robert was a vocational teacher and VICA advisor for 30 years, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Reserves and a member at Pughtown Baptist Church. He was a member of the PSERS and NEA.
Robert was able to build computers and was an avid reader. He was a softball coach for Pughtown Baptist with many winning seasons. He liked to watch the Phillies. In his lifetime he had many cars, he loved to work in the garage and owned many tools. He was very handy and was able to fix pretty much anything. He collected Coca Cola memorabilia.
In addition to his wife, surviving is his daughter, Charlene Boyette( husband James) of Pottstown and three loving grandchildren: Tyler Seaton, Kyle Seaton and Jordan Boyette.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Pughtown Baptist Church, 780 Pughtown Road, Spring City, PA 19475, Rev. Samuel L. Geiger officiating. Visiting hours will be from 10:30 – 11:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the church. An Air Force honor guard will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to: Pughtown Baptist Church 780 Pughtown Rd., Spring City, PA 19475 or the Kidney Foundation at 30 E. 33rd St. New York, NY 10016 or www.kidney.org.
