John Russell Cole, III, 73, Phoenixville John Russell Cole, III, 73, faithful and beloved husband to the late Karen D. Cole, died peacefully at home on Saturday, November 15, 2014. He was born in Upland, Delaware County to the late John R. and the late Lillian A. (Humphreys) Cole, Jr. John graduated from Eddystone High School. John was a Vietnam Veteran who continued to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years before retiring in 1987 as a Senior Master Sergeant supporting the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon. After his military career, John spent several years working in the telecommunications industry with AT&T and Comcast, retiring at age 63 to spend more time with his family and pursuing his love of volunteer firefighting. John was a lifetime member of Lennox Park Fire Company No. 1 in Marcus Hook and the past President and member of Kimberton Fire Company. John loved having an ice cold Coca Cola while listening to fifties and gospel music, or watching a Phillies game. Surviving are his four children Julie A. Morrow, wife of Michael, of Coventry; John R. Cole IV, wife Aliana of Northumberland; Matthew C. Cole and fiancée Tara Torcivia of Boyertown; and Deborah L. Siderchuk, wife of David, of Phoenixville. John leaves behind one Sister, Nancy DiPaola. John was the loving Grandpop to his four grandchildren: Kayla, Cole, Thomas, and Madison. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 11:30 AM at Grace Assembly of God 1271 W. Bridge Street, Spring City, Pa 19475 with the Rev. Jack A. Mason officiating.
