Dorothy M. Weaver, 88, daughter of the late Earl T. and the late Myrtle (Bare) Weaver died Friday, November 20, 2009 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Chester County Dorothy had lived in Upper Darby, Phoenixville, Philadelphia and most recently Boyertown. She was employed by the former Bell Telephone Company for over 30 years, retiring in 1962. Dorothy loved to travel and enjoyed knitting and playing cards. She is survived by a brother, George Weaver, wife of Margaret, of Lancaster and one sister Ida Mae Moore of Pottstown, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by a sister, Anna Force and a brother, Earl T. Weaver. On Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM there will be a memorial service for Dorothy at Walnut Woods, 35 N. Walnut St., Boyertown.
