Obituary of Stephen Franklin Thomas

Stephen Franklin Thomas, 70, peacefully passed away in his sleep in the early hours of June 7, 2024, after many years of struggling with ill health.

Steve will forever be loved and deeply missed by his wife, Valerie, his children Ilya, Julian, and Sophia, along with their partners and his adored grandchildren. His loss will also be felt by his extended family and friends. 

Steve's life was marked by his creative ingenuity, evident in his artistry with clay, his beautiful landscapes filled with plants, flowers and masonry, and his inventive spirit.

From his younger years in Europe to his later travels around the wider world, he will be remembered for his world views of equality, justice and the rights of all individuals.

An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan with incredible strength of character, Steve remained steadfast in his sobriety for 47 years.

May his spirit find eternal peace.
