Obituary of Robert A. Bealer

Robert A. Bealer, 83, Pottstown

Robert A. Bealer, 83, husband to Hannelore (Gall) Bealer passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024 at home.

The youngest of the five children in the family, Bob was born February 3, 1941 in Bucktown, PA to Ralph and Jennie Bealer. Bob graduated from Spring-Ford High School and served our country during the Cold War as an Honor Guard for US Headquarters in Berlin.  He received the Army of Occupation Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and was an expert in Rifle and Bayonet.  While stationed in Berlin, he even met and opened the door for President Kennedy.  The most influential person he met in Berlin wasn’t the President; however, but his lifelong partner, Hannelore.  She followed him after his discharge to Pennsylvania, where they were married in Royersford in 1964.  They just celebrated their 60^th wedding Anniversary on April 18^th.

Hannelore and Bob have been a team from the beginning. Creating a commercial and residential building company, Robert A. Bealer Builder.  The commercial business took Bob all over the east coast to build restaurants and other businesses.  Many residential homes in Montgomery and Chester County were also built by Bob.  All the hard work was to create a home and make life easier for his family.  He was so proud of his children and adored becoming a grandfather.

Bob leaves behind his adoring wife, Hannelore (Gall) Bealer; two sons:  Andreas (husband to Sabine) and Wayne (husband to Julie); two grandchildren:  Nathanial and Jessica.  He is preceded in death by his grandson: Jonathon in 1998 and his siblings:  Edie, Ralph, Elizabeth and Harry.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Brownbacks UCC Cemetery, 640 Ridge Road, Spring City, PA 19475.
