Virginia (Ginger) Ann Gamberg, 65, Aston

Ginger Gamberg, 65,  passed away on Monday January 29, 2024 after a short illness.

One of eight siblings, Ginger was born on May 31, 1958 in Philadelphia to the late James Hugh and the late Jean Marie Munion (Haas). Ginger graduated from Norristown High School in 1976 and Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science with a degree in Finance.  She began her career at Textile working in the Financial Aid Department.  She eventually became employed at Ellucian where she served as a financial aid consultant for ten years and on the action line for over twenty years.

Ginger was married to David William Gamberg, the love of her life for 30 years.   She was an avid runner and skier.  Ginger adored the outdoors and traveling.  On weekends you could find her at local State Parks enjoying the fresh air.   Ginger took many ski trips with family and friends to Colorado, Utah and British Columbia among other places.  St. John U.S.V.I.  held a special place in Ginger’s heart.  While there, she enjoyed going on hikes, snorkeling and eating at local restaurants overlooking the Caribbean with Dave.   Other destinations she traveled to included New Zealand, Hawaii, and Alaska.  Ginger also spent lots of time with her family in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Ginger leaves behind her devoted husband, Dave Gamberg and siblings:  William James Munion (Colleen), James Charles Munion (Michelina), Robert John Munion, Deborah Jean Smith (the late Sheldon) Dr. Gail Lynn Munion (Kenneth Gale), Jean Marie Tripp (Erick) and Christine Elizabeth Munion (Rufus A.
