Marilyn Hyden Randolph, 92, Phoenixville

Marilyn Randolph, 92,  passed away Thursday January 4, 2024 in the Phoenixville Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Fully active and spry until the end, Marilyn lived with no regrets. 

She was born March 9, 1931 in Phoenixville to the late Michael and  Olive (Schwarz) Hyden. Marilyn graduated from Spring City High School and went on to New York City to the Kathryn Gibbs Secretarial School.  She found her passion working for Schuylkill Township, where she worked for over 30 years.  She was a member of the Valley Forge Sewer Authority and the Open Space Committee in East Pikeland Township. 

A doting, loving Granny to her grandchildren and lover of all animals, Marilyn enjoyed simple living on her farm in East Pikeland Township where she worked hard every day, but doing what she loved most.   Marilyn enjoyed many activities with her dear friends, which included heading to plant auctions, shopping at discount stores and hitting various garden centers.  Her passion for living life to the fullest was evident in everything she did. She loved cooking and baking, especially her famous pizzelles, every day to share with her family, filling her freezer with meals to give to her grandchildren.

Marilyn leaves behind two sons:  George Randolph, wife Suzanne and Michael Randolph, wife Joann; four grandchildren:  Andrew Randolph, Michael Randolph Jr. (wife Kiley), Katie Randolph, and Becky Randolph (FiancĂ©, Ryan Foley).  Preceded in death is her grandson,  James Randolph.
