Marlene graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia, where she played cello in the orchestra.  She carried her love of music throughout her life, spending many years as a piano teacher, playing organ for her church, and singing in the choir.  She worked alongside her husband, Richard, in Devlin Rosmos Kepp Funeral Home, for over 20 years before retiring.

Surviving Marlene are her five children:  Diane, Ralph Kenneth Jr. (Deborah,) Sandra Artim, Sharon Santillo and James.  Also surviving are her thirteen grandchildren:  Kaitlyn (Dan,) Kelsey, Erin (L.J.,) Stayce (Jeff,) Jason, Justin, Rob (Renee,) Brian, Amanda, Eric (Serena,) Tylar (Megan,) Haven and Riley, and her twenty-six adored great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Ralph Kenneth (Kappy) Kappenstein in 1976, and J. Richard Rosmos in 2020, her sons-in-law Robert Artim and Thomas Santillo, and her seven siblings:  Evelyn, Buddy (James,) Sis (Elizabeth,) Margie, Patrick, Donald and Joseph.
