In Loving Memory of David J. Monteith

David J. Monteith, beloved husband of Veronica B. Monteith, “Ronnie”, passed away at his home on September 16, at the age of 77. He was born on October 26, 1945, in South Philadelphia.

David attended Marple Newtown High School in Newtown Square. Following his graduation, he pursued his passion for drafting at Penn State University, where he kick started his career. For over 50 years, he proudly served as a general contractor. David was also the owner and operator of Birchrun Excavating.

Beyond his professional achievements, David had a profound love for animals, particularly dogs. He and his wife, "Ronnie" Monteith, shared their home with an impressive 14 Doberman companions over the years. Among them, Heidi held a special place in his heart.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Ronnie and his daughter, Jennifer (Judge) Tanyer. David also leaves behind four grandchildren, Samantha, Sabrina, Zoe, and Judge Jr.
