Obituary of Marie Wisor

Yesterday, September 9th, we laid to rest our Loving Wife, Mother, Aunt, Grandmom and Great Grandmom, Marie Wisor.  She was born April 28, 1942 and passed away, receiving her Heavenly Wings on September 4, 2023 at the age of 81.

Marie is survived by her husband, Bert Wisor III, her three children, Burt IV, Susan and Sharon. Her Grandchildren; Kelly, Burt V, Kyle, Kevin, Ryan, Amanda and Jennifer.  Also her Great Grandchildren; Oliver, Lily, Caden, Reese, Aiden and the newest to the family Lily Ann.  She also has a Grandson who gained his heavenly wings 10 years ago, Danny, whom I’m sure is showing her around in heaven.

Marie enjoyed her time singing, drawing and taking many pictures and sharing them with all her family and friends.  Her Sunrise and Sunset pictures will always be an enjoyable memory we will have in our hearts.  Her artistic talents were known throughout her lifetime on this earth and will always be treasured by those who knew her.  Marie was very active with Pughtown Baptist Church, being baptized there in 1970, singing in the choir and with the Worship team.  In 2020, she was acknowledged by Pughtown Baptist Church/Branch Life as a 50 year member.  She was extremely proud. 

The family had a private service for her at Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home in Spring City.  She was laid to rest next to her Mother and Father-in-law Burt and Dorothy Wisor, Jr. at Limerick Church Burial Ground.

We would like to honor Marie with a “Celebration of Life” sometime next year, 2024, after the winter months.  She loved the spring and with her birthday being in the spring, we will finalize a date soon.  Keep a lookout on her Facebook page and the Funeral Home’s website.
