Obituary of Juanita Jo Fryberger

Juanita Jo Fryberger,  59 Parkerford 

Juanita Jo Fryberger, beloved wife, mother, and Nana passed away suddenly August 23, 2023 at the Phoenixville Hospital.  On December 2, 1963, Juanita was the first-born child of Barbara (Wilkinson) and the late Richard Irvin. She was raised in the Linfield area and was a 1981 graduate of Spring-Ford High School. After graduation, Juanita went on to work at Ken Crest Services, where she met the love of her life, Phil. She later worked at Yellow Book USA, and Horse Fare Products, but her favorite job and the career she cherished the most was being a wife, mother, and Nana.  Juanita married Phil, August 4, 1984. “His Sweetie” or “Jo” were two nicknames she was affectionately called by him. They were excited to be celebrating her 60^th birthday in December and their 40^th wedding anniversary next August.

She was kind and had a huge heart. Juanita and Phil enjoyed camping, spending time with the children and grandchildren, and a trip to Hobby Lobby was always a joy.  They were regular Gettysburg enthusiasts. She was a long- time member of Grace Assembly of God church where she taught Girls Ministries clubs and Sunday School before recently joining Spring City Regeneration Church, where she was actively involved in ministries.

Juanita leaves behind her mother, Barbara Irvin, husband, Phillip Fryberger, Sr., and three children, Brooke Fryberger, Rachael Lichtley, wife of Nathaniel, and Phillip Fryberger, Jr., five grandchildren, Savannah, Isaiah, Izabella, Illyanna and Irelynn; siblings: Richard Irvin, Jr., Cheryl Peterson wife of Kevin, Brenda Vorce wife of Timothy, Brian Irvin husband of Kelly, and half-sister, Heather Wagner wife of Rodney, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

A Celebration of Juanita’s life will take place at Spring City Regeneration Church, 45 N. Church Street, Spring City, PA 19475 at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 29, 2023.  Visitation with friends and family will be from 9:30 -11:00 AM prior to the service.
