Obituary of Audrey A. Walton

Audrey  A. Walton, 86, Elverson

Audrey Walton, 86, widow of the late G. Elton Walton, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 19, 2023 with her family by her side.

She was born June 22, 1936 in Philadelphia. Audrey grew up in the West Chester Area and graduated from West Chester High School.  She married the love of her life Elton and they had three sons and one daughter.  The family painting business, G. Elton Walton and Sons Painting, grew and Audrey took on the role of not just mother and wife but bookkeeper too. She excelled at everything she did, but her most prized career was grandmother and great grandmother. In her retirement she enjoyed reading, knitting, and painting.

Audrey was the last of her three siblings and was preceded in death by her devoted husband,  Elton in 2017; she leaves behind her four children, seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren:  Curt Walton (wife, Krista) of Spring City, Craig Walton (wife, Shirley) of Elverson, Keith Walton (wife, Missy) of Elverson and daughter Joyce Walton Dawson (husband Tim).  Grandchildren are Luke, Karie, Cory, Kendal, Brandon, Justin, and Cole.  Great grandchildren are Abby, Eli, Natalija, Carter, Mason, Mia, Violet, Isaac, Fionn, and Rhys.

She was preceded in death by her brother the late Tommy Adrien and her sister the late Carol Keenan.
