Anthony D. Dellaquila, 54, Royersford Anthony D. Dellaquila, (Tony) was called home to live with his Lord on Saturday, September 14, 2013. He died peacefully in his sleep. Tony was predeceased by his parents, John and Dolores Dellaquila and a sister MaryAnn Dellaquila. Tony was born and raised in Pottstown, attending schools for special needs children. He completed his schooling and graduated with the senior class of Perkiomen High School of 1980. He was very proud of this achievement. Shortly afterwards the family moved to the Royersford area. Tony was a very outgoing and loving soul, spreading happiness wherever and to whomever he met. He was the unofficial “mayor” of the development he lived in and everyone knew and watched over him. His favorite pastimes were: golfing, swimming, word search puzzles, crafts and walks in the neighborhood. He loved and is loved by his large family of nieces and nephews. He is survived by a sister, Diane Simon, wife of Bernd Simon. A brother; John Dellaquila, husband of Joan and a brother Franklin who lived and cared for Anthony at home. Viewing will be at the Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge Street in Spring City on Thursday, September 19 between 7 and 9 PM. A viewing will also be held Friday morning, September 20 between 9 and 10 AM. Service to follow at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories in Limerick.
