Obituary of Doris Favinger

Doris (Nyce) Favinger, 96, Spring City 

Doris Favinger, 96,  a long standing member of the Spring City community, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 surrounded by her family.  

A life well lived, Doris was born July 30, 1926 in Phoenixville to the late Elwood Nyce and the late Helen Shaw. Doris retired from Spring City Knitt and after retirement continued to stay active at the Spring City UCC and the Spring City Food pantry. She adored her family and cherished her time spent with them. 

Doris leaves behind: her only son, Clair Gohean, Wife Rev. Tamara Gohean of Downingtown, one granddaughter, three great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held at Shalkop, Grace, & Strunk Funeral Home in Spring City on Monday, January 23 at 11:00am. A private burial will be held at a later date at the Limerick Garden of Memories.
