Obituary of Carol Mae Corropolese
Carol (Flasher) Corropolese, of Royersford, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 3, 2023.
Carol was born in Rockhill Furnace, PA in 1951 to the late Robert and Anna Mae (Greenland) Flasher.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Richard, her two loving sons; Shawn (Ronnie) of Linfield and Jason (Andrea) of Royersford, 3 grandchildren who were the light of her life; Jakob, Alyssa, and Julia; she was the dear sister to brother; Dennis (Shirl) Flasher and sister; Susan (Ted) Bauman; and cherished aunt to 2 nieces, 2 nephews, and 5 great nieces and nephews.
Carol was a 1969 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School where she played trumpet in the marching band. Carol was an in-home childcare provider for over 30 years until she retired in 2008.
Carol loved going to Ocean City each summer with her family and riding the boardwalk with Rich on their scooters. Carol found such joy in being surrounded by her 3 grandchildren and attending all of their sporting events through the years where she was fondly known by many as “mom-mom”. If there was a baseball or field hockey game, Carol and Rich were always spotted side-by-side with their sports families cheering on the team. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed playing Bingo, going to basket raffles, trips to the Casinos, cruising with their friends, and crafting. She often reminisced about the many trips with Rich’s softball team back in the day. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she so lovingly touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at R.
