Obituary of Victor F. Simmons, Jr.
Victor F. Simmons Jr. 84, husband to Barbara (Cummings) Simmons passed away on Tuesday October 25, 2022 at his home with his family.
He was born August 17, 1938 in Malvern Pa. to the late Victor F. Simmons Sr. and the late Elma (nee Syfrit) Simmons and Stepmother Ethel Simmons. Victor grew up in Strafford, PA and was a graduate of
the class of 1957 at Conestoga High School. After high school, he served in the National Guard. Victor loved his career as a mail carrier which he worked for over 30 years until retirement. He was an avid
Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers fan, but gave his Baseball allegiance to the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed his time with family.
Victor leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Barbara. two children: Son: Dennis Simmons (Mary) and a Daughter: Denise Simmons; four grandchildren: Rachel Simmons, Ryan Seegers, Jennifer Simmons, and Nicholas Seegers, and a great- grandchild: Benjamin Harvey and a sister, Phyllis Moore.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday November 11th 2022 at St. Teresa of Calcutta, 256 Swamp Pike,Schwenksville, PA 19473. Friends and family are invited to visit prior to the service from 10 to 11am. Interment will be private.
