Obituary of John F. Tobinus Sr.
John F. Tobinus Sr., 81, Douglassville
John Tobinus Sr., 81, widower of the late Teresa Tobinus passed away Tuesday May 31, 2022 in the Reading Hospital.
He was born December 12, 1940 in Shenandoah, PA to the late Frank and Eva Charnick Tobinus. John spent most of his life in the Norristown Area. John retired after 50 years as a Machine Operator in Manufacturing for the Markel Corporation of Norristown. He loved fishing and playing pool. John enjoyed going to the casino to play slot reels.
John leaves behind his three adoring children: John, Jr. (Wife, Courtney) Darlene and Travis. Six Grandchildren: Rachael, Hannah, Trey, Emily, Chase, Kayla. Siblings: Frances Kolenda and Vincent Tobinus. He is preceded in death by his siblings: Louise, Veronica and Michael.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday June 8 in Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 8 prior to the service at Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home.
