Elizabeth  “Betty” L. Pekarskis, 89, Pottstown

Elizabeth “Betty” Pekarskis, 89,  wife of the late Albert Pekarskis, passed away Friday April 29, 2022 in the Phoenixville Hospital.

She was born December 22, 1932 in Pottstown to the late  Ralph Bealer and the late Jennie (Taglieber) . One of five children, Betty was born and raised in the Bucktown area most of her life.  Betty loved her community.  She was a member of the Bocce Club, the American Legion and Quoit Club.  She was employed for many years working at the Park House (then Johnson Home) as a Nurses Aide.  Like many women of her generation, widowhood brought  a fierce sense of strength and independence. She entered the workforce and never looked back. She enjoyed family events and took great joy in watching the generations of nieces and nephews grow.

Betty leaves behind her brother, Robert Bealer and family;  wife:  Hannelore Bealer  and nieces and nephews, Wayne, Pam, Cindy, Linda and Harry. Preceded in death are her siblings:  Ralph A. Bealer, Edith M. Bealer and Harry L. Bealer.
