Margaret A. Christ, 75, Long Neck Margaret A. (Eckert) Christ, 75, widow of the late Jack F. Christ, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at home in Long Neck, Delaware. She was born in Manchester, England to the late Clarence and Lillian (Taylor) Eckert. Margaret was a member of the Red Hat Ladies, an avid reader and enjoyed knitting. She worked in various positions as a Medical Coder and was a member of the Medical Coders Association. Surviving are her four children: Kim P. Walters, wife of Brian, Royersford; Barbara A. Fisher, Royersford; John "Jack" Christ, Charleston, South Carolina; Kelly Christ Ebright, Florida. Daughter in law: Susan Christ, wife of the late Michael Clarence Christ. Two Sisters: Stephanie Mest, wife of David, Pottstown; Diane Barringer, wife of John, Royersford; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday at Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 135 Bridge Street, Spring City with the Rev. Paul H. Neff officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Saturday in the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, PA. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Spring City.
