Sean was an amazing leader - cherished every moment he gave to me and our team. Deeply saddened for this loss - it really hits hard when the world raises a leader like this to only lose them too soon. My deepest condolences to the family.

To closest Family and Friends. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m so glad to to have met Sean. As with most, I have lost contact over the years and honestly don’t think of this level of loss within our peers. I know he fought the good fight, that was Sean. I knew him when we were in middle/high school and knew Sean had the mind and soul to take him places some of us may never see. We were neighbors, our back yards shared a fence line between Farmdale and Cedar mill…so close but now so far.
Sean, you will be missed by everyone you’ve met. You and your family are in our prayers
Take care

What a gentle giant of a man, offering friendship and inspiration to all who knew him. As a fellow heart transplant recipient, I admired Sean and looked up to him over the years. I can still recall many, many years ago asking a social worker to point him out at some hospital event since I had heard about him, but had not met him yet. Standing next to him, but much shorter than his tall stature was his pretty bride to whom I asked in mock humor, "So, whatever made you marry someone with a HEART TRANSPLANT?" To which she responded with a story of their first date when, in getting out of the car, he asked her to wait a minute so he could get his drugs out of the trunk. She then asked, "What's with the drugs?" considering this was their first date, she obviously didn't know what to think. To which Sean replied, "Oh, I've had a heart transplant and need to take these meds." She said since he took it so calm and natural, that's what the news caused her to react to it equally accepting. Boy, I can't believe I remembered all that since I haven't told that story since that chance meeting so many years ago, but here it is back today. We will miss you, Sean, and offer our prayers and condolences to his loving family.

My deepest condolences to his family. While at Temple University Hospital, I had the good fortune to meet Sean not long after his first transplant. While I didn’t know him well, I knew that his intelligence, kindness, humility and maturity would guide his life well. I knew that even at his young age, he had a good sense of his “true north.” I’m happy (and not surprised) to read that he achieved much, mentored well, and left this earthly world a better place. Now, he flies with his fellow angels …

I met Sean in an eighth grade basketball championship. He was a fierce competitor then as he was in life.
I was friends with him at RVRHS and I always admired his strength. Your family is in my prayers.

I had the pleasure of working with Sean in Newtown. He was one of the first leaders I encountered, and graciously took me under his wing, helping me navigate the early years of my career.
He was a caring and insightful leader, always looking out for his people. I learned so much from him. Not only through his direct interactions but also through his quiet but meaningful actions.
Years after I had left Newtown, I came to a crossroads in my career, and I immediately reached out to Sean seeking his guidance. While we hadn't spoken in a few years, we picked up exactly where we left off, and Sean generously donated hours of his time helping me assess and decide where I was headed next.
My deepest condoleances to Sean's family. His loss will truly be felt by all who knew him. Wishing you all the best...
Sean

My sincere condolences to you, Allison, Cameron and Avery on your loss. I knew and worked with Sean at East Windsor and also in Newtown. What a great guy, he will be greatly missed. Always terrifically helpful, and friendly, and calm in the face of things going wrong. Plus one day in the clean room while he was pointing out something wrong on a satellite, I noticed that he and I happened to also have the same taste in wedding bands. A silly thing, but we both thought it was funny.
