Obituary of Dean L Miller

Dean L. Miller, 70, of Spring City passed away at Reading Hospital on Thursday, December 2, 2021. 

Dean was a 1969 graduate of Spring Ford High School and went on to devote 30 years to the United States Postal Service as a mail handler at the Southeastern Mail Facility.  He further served his community though his memberships with Liberty Fire Company, the Spring City American Legion, and Friendship Hook & Ladder of Royersford. 

With his love of the outdoors, Dean truly enjoyed hunting and fishing, but nothing touched his love of golf.  Dean was a treasured part of the Liberty Fire Company Golf League and will be missed.

Dean was preceded in death by his brother Dave Miller and is survived by two sisters and a brother: Doris Gertenich, Diane Swartz, Larry Miller as well as 3 nieces and 3 nephews. 

Visitation is being held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00am with funeral services starting at 11:00 at Shalkop, Grace and Strunk Funeral Home located at 135 Bridge Street in Spring City. Interment to immediately follow at Limerick Garden of Memories in Limerick, Pennsylvania.
