Obituary of Evelyn E. Ammon
Evelyn E. Ammon, 92, Spring City
Evelyn Ammon, 92, widow of the late William Ammon, passed away early Wednesday morning July 7, 2021 at home.
She was born September 24, 1928 in Royersford to the late Harry Bainbridge, and late Deborah (Dolan) Bainbridge. Evelyn was the last survivor of 13 brothers and sisters.
Evelyn was born and raised in the Spring Ford Community. She said she graduated from the Salem School on Rt. 724 and could still sing the Alma Mater. A long time employee of Spring City Bleach and Die, Evelyn was a hard worker in the Knitting Mill.
In her later years, she loved Lawrence Welk and spending time with friends and family.
Evelyn leaves behind two adoring sons: Wiliam Curt Ammon (husband to Jacqueline) and Brian Ammon.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday July 12 in Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, with Rev. Erick Kern officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday, July 12 prior to the service at Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home.
