All of us were shocked and sadden to learn of Lou's passing.
Lou was a brother-in-law/uncle to many members of the Roberts family. Mary his wife was our sister/aunt. Some of us have known Lou for 44 years and he was very much a part of our family. He shared holidays, birthdays, Sunday dinners, vacations and Shang Hi rummy (most of the time he won) with us. For a quiet guy, he came into our loud and rowdy family, and accepted us all. And he stayed.
We truly loved Lou and he will be deeply missed.

We have many good memories of Lou. Looking at the photos in the video that is posted here was a wonderful experience. There are many touching pictures of fun and special times throughout his life. It was very well done.
Looking at the photos reinforced what I had heard with my conversations with Lou. He had had many interesting events over the years. Through it all, his family was very important to him.

I am so sorry for your lose. I am Dennis Angelina, I have been running the PENNDOT Golf League for a long time. Lou joined our league in 2004, it doesn't seem that long ago. Lou was always pretty quiet and understated, until he had something to say, and when he spoke we listened.
One of the best sign-ups this league ever had, such a good man. Your Dad was loved by everyone of us over the years, we've had players come and go, and they will always remember Lou.
We will miss our friend on Thursday Golf league night, but there will be a lot of stories in the snack bar to keep his presence among us.
A true gentlemen. We will miss Lou.

I’m hoping this post will lighten the mood of all who may read it . . .
Lou was always a good friend, while diligent working he typically would make the time to chat with whomever dropped by.
He was also a bit of a speculator . . . he talked me into a number of ‘dogs’ in the market . . . losers, everyone. Lol
Always the family man, he frequently shared stories of the accomplishments of his wife and children with a few close friends in the office. He was SO very proud of you.
Lou could be grouchy and grumble at times tho too . . . perhaps a master of the gruff, 2nd only to his prowess at golf.
We will surely miss you Lou – God bless and please accept my condolences for your loss
