Christine K. Kulp, age 90 of Spring City PA formerly of East Pikeland Township, died Saturday in the Manatawny Manor, Pottstown.
Christine was born in East Pikeland Township a daughter to the late Harold H. and Florence (Weaver) Kulp. She was raised in East Pikeland and resided most of her life in Spring City. Christine was a 1941 graduate of the former Spring City High School. She was employed at the former Royersford Needleworks, the Budd Company in Phoenixville and the J. R. Hollingsworth Company and Vishay Intertechnology of Malvern until her retirement.
Christine was a life member of the Spring City United Methodist Church and attended the Faith Bible Fellowship Church in Spring City.
Christine enjoyed crocheting, knitting and embroidering.
Christine spent most of her time reading her bible and devoted herself to daily prayer.
She is survived by a brother; Ralph L. Kulp husband of Janis of New Hanover and Nieces: Linda J. Kulp of Phoenixville and Melodie Owings of Portland, Oregon, and Nephews: Dwayne C. Kulp of Spring City and Jeffrey S. Kulp of California. She was predeceased by nieces: Marcia Huke and Lori Clark; also survived by several Grand nieces and Grand nephews and a sister in law: Greta Kulp.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday at 10am at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home Bridge and Church Streets Spring City PA. The Rev. Kevin Clineff and the Rev. Dennis Keen will officiate. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Her viewing will be held Thursday at the funeral home from 9am to 10am.
