James "Dickie" Richard Sabold, 86,
James Sabold, 86, passed away Thursday January 7, 2021 in the Season’s Hospice.
James was born June 17, 1934 in Phoenixville to the late James F. Sabold and Mary Conway Sabold. Affectionately known as “Dickie”, it was not uncommon to see him sitting on the bench between Spring City and Royersford smoking a cigar reading the paper. Dickie loved people and being in the community. He was a gentle spirit and loved children and sports. Dickie was an honorary assistant coach to many local baseball little league teams, enjoyed the local Spring City Men’s Bible Study and could quote scripture from memory. He will be missed in the community.
Dickie leaves behind his sister, Mary Lou Robbins of Spring City, five nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at the Limerick Garden of Memories at 11 AM. Rev. Erick Kern will officiate.
