Robert  L. White, 77, Spring City

Robert White, 77,  of Spring City, PA, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on September 3, 1942 in Mansfield, PA to the late Richard and Rachael (Paris) White.  In 1963, he graduated from Williamson High School.  Robert then served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He was awarded the Bronze Star during his time in Nha Trang, Vietnam.  Upon his return, he worked at Western Electric (AT&T) in Allentown until he retired in the late 1980’s.  Robert then moved to Florida where he drove a school bus for special needs children in Seminole County.  He had a passion for baseball which he played for several years and spent some time coaching Little League.

Robert leaves behind his daughter, Alicia (White) Hott; son-in-law, Michael, grandson Brayden of East Coventry, PA; sister, Roberta Tanner of La Habra, CA.

Military Honors and interment will be scheduled at a later time.  The services will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Indiantown Gap Rd., Annville, PA 17003.
