W. "Monty" Howard Montgomery, 89, Spring City W. Howard Montgomery, 89, widower of Carol Jane (Hecht) Montgomery formerly of East Vincent, died Thursday November 8, in Arden Court, King of Prussia.. Monty was born in Kimberton, PA to the late Charles and Eva Mae (Slider) Montgomery. Monty was the owner of Hecht Hardware Store, then also worked in the real estate business until a few years ago. Monty is survived by four children , retired Colonel, Cheryl Montgomery Harris , of Upper Marlboro, MD, Dennis Richard Montgomery, husband of Sara of Deltona, Fl, Neale Elaine Montgomery of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Lisa A. Montgomery of Royersford, PA . Also, Monty is survived by three grandchildren, Tara T. Sunquist, wife of Elisha of Jacksonville, Florida, Wendell Montgomery of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Meryl Montgomery of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday at 10:00 am at the Faith Bible Fellowship Church 25 Pennhurst Rd. Spring City with the Rev. Kevin Clineff officiating. Burial to follow in the Pughtown Baptist Cemetery 11:00 am. His viewing will be held Saturday morning in church from 9:00 to 10:00 am. with a luncheon in church following the burial.
