Obituary of Anthony J Rosetti

Anthony "Babe" J. Rosetti, husband of the late Mary (Lengel) Rosetti age 90 of Phoenixville PA died on Friday in the Seasons Hospice of the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Phoenixville a son to the late Francis and Angela (Sape) Rosetti; Anthony reside all his life in Phoenixville He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army during the Pacific Theatre; Receiving the Good conduct medal, Victory Medal, Pacific Campaign, and two Bronze Stars. He was employed for over 40 years as a tire builder for the former BF Goodrich Company of Oaks until his retirement. He was a member of St. Mary the Assumption Catholic Church in Phoenixville, and member the Friendship Fire Company of Phoenixville, the Polish American Citizens Club,Phoenixvile Moose Lodge and former president of the Moose Lodge, and a member the Spring City American Legion Post 602, Thomas W. O'Connor, and the Veterans of Foreign War. Babe enjoyed gardening. He is survived by a daughter: Mary Ann wife of Ray M. Mincarelli of Phoenixville and a son: Frank A. husband of Lisa Rosetti of Limerick PA and 5 grandchildren: Tony, Debbie, Denise, Bobby and Alana. And 5 great grandchildren: Sara, Rachael, Nicholas, Connor and Leah. Sister: Angelina DiGiacomo of Phoenixville Predeceased by half sisters; Marie Sciallo and Dolores Sanbe and half brothers: Oscar, Frank and Nicholas Sciallo. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Tuesday at 10:00am at St. Mary the Assumption Church 212 Dayton Street. Phoenixville PA. The Rev. John Hutter will officiate. Burial to follow with military honors in the Holy Trinity Cemetery. His viewing will be held Monday evening from 6:30-8:30pm at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home Bridge and Church Streets Spring City PA and on Monday at the funeral home from 8:30 am to 9:15 am. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Seasons Hospice 140 Nutt Road Phoenixville PA 19460. On line tributes may be made at www.sgsfuneralhome.com
