JamesW.Hall, 68, died Saturday, October 6, 2012 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
James was born in Phoenixville, PA to the late Ira F. and late H. Madeline (Mensch) Hall. A livestock haulerandfarmer, James was an independent business owner and worked tirelessly since the age of 16. He lead a life dedicated to helping people, serving his clients and caring for animals. In the little time he spent at rest, James enjoyed checkers, bingo and watching baseball. His kindness, love for his family and contribution to livestock / farming communities in PA/NJ/DE will always be remembered.
Survived by his son: Christopher E. Major of Ardmore, PA and his fianc, Kate DelPriore, four sisters: Ellen (Ellie) L. Bertolette, wife of John, Spring City, Florence E. Lowe, wife of John, Spring City, Frieda I. Nettles of Spring City and Barbara A. Himes, wife of Dennis, Spring City; One brother: Glenn I. Hall, Pottstown and mother of Christopher, Christine E. Major of Marpleton, PA and three loving nieces and two nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Shalkop Grace &Strunk Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 135 Bridge Street, Spring City. Rev. Ernie Mascho will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 PM Friday evening and9-10 AM Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be immediately following at the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.
