Jeanne L. (Christman) Golie, age 84, of Parkerford, PA died on Wednesday morning in her home; Born in Pottstown a daughter to the late William N. and Anna M. (Lick) Christman Mrs. Golie resided most of her life in Parkerford, she was a devoted member f St. Clare's Parish (Blessed Teresa of Calcutta) where she sang in the choir and helped teach children religious education and volunteered with the making the Easter Egg Candy; She was a Charter member the AIBC Ladies Auxiliary (American Italian Bocce Club) Royersford; Jeanne was employed for many years as the credit manager for the former Jones Motor Company and the former Scout Trucking until her retirement; She enjoyed crafts and was an avid Phillies Fan and found joy playing Bingo and traveling to the Jersey Shore She is survived by daughter: Cynthia Noble-Mohn wife of Butch Mohn of Parkerford and a son: Jimmy husband of Gina Golie of Royersford and 3 grandchildren: Christopher husband of Amy Golie, William husband of Jaimie Noble and Erin wife of David Przasnyski and 6 great grandchildren: Evan,Sarah,Shannon,Lizzie,Shane and Alex James. Also a sister: Arlene Trace of California and predeceased by brother: William Christman and long time companion Frank Savastana. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Saturday April 14, 2012 at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta (St. Clare Parish) 1228 Main Street Linfield PA at 11:00am with Reverend Paul C. Brandt officiating. Entombment to follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held Saturday in church from 9:45 to 11:00am; In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice; The Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
