Victoria "Vicki" (Ziemba) Dorkoskie, age 88, wife of the late Francis Dorkoskie, died Wednesday in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Trevorton, PA a daughter to the late Bartholomew and Christina (Kormoncik) Ziemba. Vicki resided the past fifty five years in east Vincent Township, Spring City. She was employed at the former PHILCO Company and the former Pennhurst State School. She was a loving mother and homemaker for all of her life. Vicki was a devoted member of St. Joseph Church in Spring City, and also a member the Ladies Solidarity of Sacred Heart. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking, and cooking. Vicki's greatest joy was engaging in conversation with people and being with her relatives. She is survived by two daughters: Christina Dorkoskie of Hop Bottom, PA and Mary, wife of Edward Krasicki of San Bernardino, CA and sons: Frank Dorkoskie of Spring City and Donald Dorkoskie, husband of Cheryl of Pottstown, and 3 grandchildren: Mary Kormoncik, Kyle Dorkoskie husband of Ashley, and Megan Meeker wife of Christopher. Four great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Also Sister: Theresa Reidinger and brothers: John Ziemba, Joseph Ziemba, and Victor Ziemba. She was predeceased by a daughter: Antoinette Robinson and sisters: Mary Bohaczyk and Veronica Ziemba. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 11:00 am on Monday in the St Joseph Church, 3460 Schuylkill Road, Spring City. With the Rev. Charles O'Hara officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Sunday evening in the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home Bridge and Church Streets, Spring City and 10-11:00 AM Monday in church. Burial will be in St Al's New Cemetery, Pottstown.
