Obituary of Margaret J Graves

Margaret J. "Peggy" (Wetty) Graves, age 62, wife of Dr. Larry Graves of Strafford PA died Saturday in the Paoli Hospital.
Peggy was born in Phoenixville, a daughter to the late Frank and the late Margaret (Paster) Wetty.
She was raised in Phoenixville, a 1967 graduate of the former St. Pius X High School. She then attended college in Hartford for one year. Peggy was employed since 1995 as an administrator at Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia, where she was very active with their "Daffodil Days" (a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society) and also helped organize "Celebration of Our People". Peggy was known for her talented floral arranging and her expertise in cooking.
She is survived by a sister, Mary wife of John Godman of Meriden CT; and brothers: Frank Wetty husband of Deborah, of Downingtown, Thomas Wetty, husband of Carol, of New Castle DE, and Andrew Wetty and partner Michael Ashby of Royersford. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews whom she cherished: Dr. Cassandra Tierney, wife of Brendan, Kathryn Elise Wetty, Anya Elizabeth Wetty, Jonathan Wetty, Wesley Godman and Joseph Wetty.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass to celebrate her life at 11:00 a.m. Thursday November 17 at Sacred Heart Church 148 Church Street Phoenixville, with the Rev. Roger DiBuo officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made in her name to the American Cancer Society 1615 West Chester Pike Suite 102 West Chester PA 19382 on line at www.cancer.org The Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Spring City, is handling arrangements.
