Obituary of Nicholas Anthony Scozzarri

Nicholas Anthony Scozzarri, 80, husband of Faith (Rusinko) Scozarri formally of West Babylon, New York, died Friday at home his home in Chalfont, PA. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Peter and the late Mary (Schiavo) Scozarri. A Graduate of Midwood High School, Nicholas and Faith were in their fifty fourth year of marriage. He resided in West Babylon New York for forty five years and was employed at the Glendale Steel Corporation for many years and then worked for the Town of Babylon until he retired. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church in West Babylon and he enjoyed Bowling and Golf. In addition to his wife he is survived by four children: Susan wife of John Ballantine, Donna wife of Lance Medric, Andrea wife of Ian Kiernan and Peter husband of Mary Scozzarri. And 9 grandchildren and a sister: Maria wife of Nate Smola. He is preceded in death by a daughter: Linda wife of Steve Brett. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at 11:00 am Wednesday in St Jude's Church, 321 West Butler Ave., Chalfont. Interment will be held Thursday 11:00am in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning in church from 10-11am in church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Hospice Compassus 711 N. York Road 2nd floor Willow Grove PA 19090. On line tributes may be made at sgsfuneralhome.com
