Michael H. "Mike" Gennaria, husband of Jane Carol (Snuffer) Gennaria age 74, of Spring City, passed away on Thursday September 9, 2021 at Phoenixville Hospital.

Mike was born in Norristown, the son of the late Harvey and Caroline (Turssline) Gennaria.

Mike lived all of his life in the Spring Ford area, he was a graduate of Spring Ford High School, he was a veteran of the United States Airforce.

It was not uncommon to see Mike around town as Mike was employed for over 40 years as a Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service in the Royersford and Limerick community until his retirement.

He also worked part- time as a bartender for the Liberty Fire Company Social Club for many years.

Mike was a member of the Spring Ford Masonic Lodge #553, and member of the Odd Fellows, and Sons of the Union Veterans of Civil War.

He was a member of the Liberty Fire Company, Spring City and The Friendship Fire Company, Royersford, Mike enjoyed playing golf, he was an avid sports fan, especially a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, and he enjoyed baking and most of all he loved his family.

He will be dearly missed by his daughters: Cara Alston (Wilson) and Kim Gennaria, step daughter : Karen Richmond – Mato (Christopher), preceded in death step son: Toby Richmond, step daughter: Tammy Gauger and step son, Kevin Richmond (Annette); Fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sister: Patricia Weikel (Thomas); Tom Weikel Jr. and Karen Michaels.

A public visitation will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 12pm to 1:30pm at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home 135 Bridge Street Spring City PA 19475, Graveside Services and Burial will be private in the Limerick Garden of Memories.  Friends and family are invited to Celebrate Mike's life from 4-8 PM Wednesday, September 15 at the Royersford Fire Department Social Hall 269 Green Street Royersford, PA 19468.   Funeral arrangements are in care of Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, on line condolences and obituary can be viewed at www.sgsfuneralhome.com.
