She was born in West Chester to the late Benjamin and the late Anna (Menna) Wemett. A long time Phoenixville resident, Phyllis worked as a Waitress for .The Ridge Restaurant for many years. She is survived by her 5 children Roger Thornton, Karen Shanta (James) of Pottstown, Terry Blodis (Eugene Weaver) of Ephrata, Linda Acord of Phoenixville, Sherri Stover (David Domarasky) of Kimberton; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; 4 sisters and 1 brother Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Sunday, October 21, at 4:00 PM at The Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge St. Spring City, PA. with The Rev Jack Mason officiating.
