Mildred B. Evans, 84, West Chester, formally of Spring City
Mildred B. (Boyer) Evans, 84, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester. She was born in Spring City to the late Leroy A. and the late Emily (Fox) Boyer. Until just a few years ago, Mildred was a life long resident of the Spring City area. Mildred loved her Spring City community, especially Vincent Heights where she enjoyed playing Bingo. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Mildred worked assembling shirts for the Spring City Knitting Company until she retired. Her hobbies included cake decorating, making cakes for special family weddings and birthdays, she also enjoyed needlecraft. In recent years, her favorite past time was spent making memories with her great grandchildren.
Mildred leaves behind two loving children: Deborah Mitchell (Dennis) of West Chester, Richard Evans (Dee) of Hernando, Mississippi, four grandchildren: Sarah, Lisa, Julie and Chuck, three great grandchildren: Asher, Aria and Collin and her only sister: Eileen Hallman (Paul) of Royersford. Preceded her in death, just this week, her brother "Buddy" Leroy Boyer.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, August 4, 2018 in the Zion Lutheran Church, Route 724 & Bonnie Brae Road, Spring City. With the Rev. Paul Townsend officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 am Saturday at Zion Lutheran church prior to the service. Burial will be immediately following at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
