Anthony J. Weiss, Jr. (Joey) - 57, Spring City, PA

Anthony J. Weiss, Jr. (Joey) 57, passed away Thursday December 14, 2017 at his home in Spring City.  He was born February 8, 1960 to Joan E. (Jennart) Weiss and the late Anthony J. Weiss, Sr.

Joey was a 1978 graduate of Spring-Ford High School and Western Center for Technical Studies with a major in Carpentry and cabinet making. He worked in the family’s Construction business with his three brothers and late father.  Joey enjoyed making different wood projects for his family and friends such as toy chests, doll houses and cribs, children’s table and chair sets. Joey also enjoyed riding his four-wheeler at the mountains during vacation with his family and friends. He loved animals and enjoyed caring for his pets. Joey was a member of the Spring City Liberty Fire Company and the American Italian Club in Royersford.

In addition to his mother Joan, he was survived by his two children Joseph Weiss, of Spring City and Christina Weiss (Michael) of Pottstown: his four brothers James Weiss (Krista) of Spring City, John Weiss (Krista) of Pottstown, Kenneth Weiss (Lori) of Bechtelsville, Stephen Weiss (Brandee) of Boyertown: one granddaughter Hanna, 4 nieces, 7 nephews and many close family and friends.   

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets Spring City PA, The Rev. Lee Hallman will officiate. Burial to follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories.
